Lanna Theological Center exists today because of the obedience, vision, and long-term faithfulness of those who came before. In 1960, Dr. David L. and Delores Filbeck responded to God’s call by going to Thailand, laying a foundation rooted in Scripture, discipleship, and service For over sixty years, they—together with faithful supporters, partners, and friends—have invested their lives, prayers, and resources to equip leaders for the Church in Thailand.This legacy of faith has continued through the next generation, including their children, Carmen, Ken, and David A., who have carried forward the same commitment to leadership development and gospel ministry.
From the beginning, this work was never intended to serve only one generation. It was established on the conviction that God would continue His work through future leaders—for God to do a new thing with each new generation. The Impact Asia Foundation Endowment was created to secure the future of Lanna Theological Center, ensuring that this legacy begun in faith is sustained with wisdom, stability, and purpose for generations to come.
